As far as I can remember I have always loved art, nature and creating things. 

I grew up in a very large family and although a busy and loving environment we didn't get to see much of the world or its creatures (as so many of our children do now). I have always been fascinated with nature and wildlife and would often imagine putting these images onto paper with my own little twist. 
I adored art from a very early age but could never see this as a future or indeed anyone ever wanting to pay for my work!
Sadly my creative side sat quietly on the backburner for many many years.

Life took me on a rollercoaster with family and work but it was only literally a few years ago that I decided to buy some watercolour paints and give it a whirl. I have a deep love of the countryside and all who dwells in her and a fascination with anthropomorphic characters ( animals taking on human characteristics ).
I was encouraged to display some work in my local pub " The Alma, Linton"and to my surprise I couldn't keep up with the sales so decided to paint more ....and so Lin Forward Art began.

People say I have my own certain quirky style which of course I hope you like. I love to paint - mainly with watercolour but as you can see I like to personalize my pieces with gold leaf and fine pen.

 Being able to paint and earn a small living is like a dream come true for me.....I thank you for being part of that dream.
